Education management in the amalgamated territorial communities during quarantine – rapid-fire questions

The quarantine continues! This means that the education system continues to function in a special mode. To determine the range of problems in education management that arose due to introduction of quarantine, the team of NGO DOCCU within DECIDE – “Decentralization for Improved Democratic Education” – put the rapid-fire questions.

• 93.2% of respondents believe communication between heads of educational institutions, teachers and heads of education departments in the amalgamated territorial communities to be smooth;

• 53.8% of respondents believe that Ministry of Education and Science has key leverage to ensure the right of children to equal access to quality education;

• 36.6% of respondents identify difficulties in the quality of education through the organization of educational process;

• 49.1% of respondents cite technical factors as the main obstacle that complicates the exercise of powers in the field of education;

• 14.3% of respondents believe that providing high-quality platforms for distance learning would significantly improve the situation in education management during quarantine.
