On September 10, a meeting of the working group on strategic development of education of Poltava region was held, organized by the DECIDE project. Representatives of the Department of Education and Science of Poltava Regional State Administration, the State Service for Education Quality in Poltava region, heads of education departments of the UTC, representatives of the Poltava Center for Local Government Development, educators of Poltava region took part in the work of the group.

The participants were invited to join the definition of criteria for the development of education in the region. Among the defined criteria were voiced – the quality of education, accessibility, comfort, staffing, logistics, optimized network of the educational institutions, governance, parental involvement and more. The proposals voiced at the meeting will form the basis of the analysis of the state and prospects of education in Poltava region.
