DOCCU-Hackathon in Poltava gathered teachers, representatives of state and local government, as well as the media to discuss the relevant issue – role of democratic school in formation of democratic society.

There are more than 10 different social projects in Rozsoshentsi Gymnasium. The students help children from orphanages, wards of geriatric homes, and solve problems of environmental pollution through the environmental parliament. The active project activities of students are supported by teachers and administration of the institution. Tatiana Tiahnyriadno, Principal of Rozsoshentsi Gymnasium, said: “When students work on projects, first of all, it unites them. Secondly, they become independent, responsible, and result-oriented”.
