Bilotserkivka, Machukhy, Tereshkivka and Reshetylivka Territorial Communities won the competition to participate in DECIDE project. The project opens up new opportunities for education of Poltava Oblast, first of all for residents of rural communities. It is implemented to ensure that students of this region have equal access to quality education both in cities and villages, that communities learn how to manage education by involving citizens in decision-making, and that the school becomes the educational center of the community – center of democracy and human rights.

Vitalii Zeliuk, coordinator of DECIDE project in Poltava Oblast, outlined a number of specific practical steps that are planned to be taken in Poltava Oblast to improve the education management in the communities and to democratize schools. Read more here.
