DECIDE is implemented in 4 oblasts – Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Poltava and Odessa by Non-governmental organization DOCCU, Zurich University of Teacher Education and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The key project partners are the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, Poltava Regional State Administration, State Service of Education Quality of Ukraine, Association of the Amalgamated Territorial Communities.

The project is designed for 5 years and is aimed at supporting two key reforms in Ukraine – education and decentralization. The result of the project should be the introduction and development of democratic, transparent and regulated education management in partner communities, involving citizens in decision-making in the amalgamated territorial communities, including students, teachers, government representatives, parents, and the media.

This was told during the briefing in Poltava Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education named after M.V. Ostrogradsky.
