On July 22, 2020, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast hosted the online session on preparing changes and additions to the Regional Development Strategy for 2027 organized by DECIDE Project in cooperation with Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.<\/p>\n

The representatives of the Department of Education and Science of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, education managers from communities and heads of educational institutions of oblast joined the session. The issues of importance of strategic planning for development of education in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast were raised, the problems of development of educational network, division of powers between education management levels taking into account all specifics of the region were discussed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Department of Education is a coordinating authority within the regional administration. We faced the problem when we have one vision and the founders of educational institutions have another. This leads to slowing down the process of network optimization and creation of support institutions, and the fact that money \u201cdoes not work\u201d. Therefore, such meetings are important for us, we need to adopt the Swiss experience on how to build a dialogue, how to create conditions where all residents of the community are involved in the development of education\u201d, said Yulia Leshishina<\/strong>, Chief Specialist of the Department of Out-of-School Education and Work with Residential Institutions of the Department of Education, Science and Youth Policy of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.<\/p>\n
